Brain Tease

I thought up a little brain teaser at work today, enjoy...


Question: Salmon, Mocha, and Peach. Are all three of these things foods or
colors?


(think hard about it)

Answer: they are all colors.

By definition food is "any solid (more or less) nourishing substance that is
eaten to provide nourishment." While both Salmon and Peach(es) are food
items, Mocha is a drink item, not a food.

  • color names these days piss me off. you see all sorts of stupid names like velvet white and misty lilac.

    wtf is all that crap!!!! on top of it misty lilac from one company is probably different than misty lilac from another... that is if they haven't copyrighted the name.

    Oh...

    I think it's really neither.

    Salmon is pink, Mocha is brown, and Peach is orange. Silly names for normal colours just confuse me. I'd like it much better if they just named the different shades of brown with numbers, like 051100 is light brown and 0501010 is dark brown.

  • fatwondkkid- seiously, what happened to just basic colors. it's like they're inventing new ones every day... we don't need more versions of white damn it!

    phronk- yes! color numbers, ones that can fit into an html format! (i'm going with mocha for my background.)

    OE- it's smack for the every day office worker

    thatgirl- i could have, but with the rate i post, it would have been a week till i posted the answer

    shora- there are far too many shades of white for a heterosexual man to identify
