HNS- Half Nekk'ed Snowboarder
Last weekend I went snowboarding, and let me say, i needed it.
two years without snowboarding had made me a bit... crazy?
(this was part of an original idea for an HNT where i was going to wear all my snowboard gear including an old pair of goggles and ear-muff thing.)
Snow boarding for me is my little slice of zen. from the first moment i ride the chair lift up and sail through the trees i just feel at ease
when I'm carving i don't have a problem in the world. even if my legs are sore, my back is aching, and my toes are frozen, the only thing i concentrate on is carving my way through the obstacles littering the slopes (aka, beginners)
now, it might be a combination of demeanor and posture, but i personally think that i look my "coolest" when I'm boarding.
of course, there's something to be said for being off the slopes too, hehehe

A place near my house was just honored as the site of the first snowboarding competition (won by the guy who started Burton).
You look very cool, and very hot, in your snowboarding gear. Hella is a lucky woman!

The one on the lift with you, is that the 17 year old "kid" you mentioned?
Cute.
Oh, but so are YOU, punkin, with your gear. And yeah, you look the epitome of cool when you're boarding.
Me, can't ski, snowboard nothing. I prefer to stay inside and take care of all the cute young guys who hurt their legs and such. :)
HAPPY HNT!

Standing on a piece of wood and sliding down a mountain just doesn't appeal to me - but then I am very old. My eldest daughter is a snow-boarder and she enjoys it too. Take care now!Happy HNT.

There are some things a body shouldn't do, one of which is sliding down a mountain!

naughty- there's a reason why those goggles stay in my jacket
Masquerade- likewise, hehehe
NYAC- if you don't know NMBC, you don't know jack!
SD- wow, you and hella have similar tastes, she said the same thing. hehehe
Mariposa- boarding is always fun, even if getting there is a bit of a chore
Zoely- I ride up in Big Bear California, usually at Bear Mountian (redundant?) i have to admit, i love that glide through the trees on the lift.
Bunny- i'm warm in my gear, i'm hot when i'm with Hella. just wait till i take her snowboarding, hehehe
Polt- yeah, that was the kid (hey, not currupting you).
i'm sure you could handle snowboarding, i've heard you're pretty good at riding long stiff boards, hehehe.
Vixen- *takes a bow*
what can i say? i ain't nuth'n but a muff'n.
Evening- i'll still take cute, cause at the rate i grow wiskers i'm no where near rugged.
lapis- just imagine standing on the back of your brontosaurus and sliding down it's tail into your car at the end of the day, hehehe.
Hella- oh really? what kind of things? *evil grin* mmmmm.... this is going to be the longest four weeks ever
Tomscockwhore- very true... unless their really good at it, hehehe
Stealth- it's a blast!
Misti- wow, that was almost a Haiku! thank you so much little moisti, i must remember to get you a bigger cage.
robyn- you have a jacket to match? now all you need is the board! it has been too long since we've said stopped by eachothers blog (though, i lurk from time to time)
