many of you have asked
"why do you describe dating
as such a nightmare?"

here's an example:
I work with this cute girl
I shyly flirt with

I gathered my courage
and finally asked her out...
she laughed in my face

  • I suspect it wasn't so harsh as you portray it. Perhaps she knows you've recently had your heart broken and thought you were joking because you couldn't possibly be ready to date yet.

    But I must agree that dating co-workers can be dangerous. I met Spousehole because we worked together; now look at us! Seriously though, I lost my job when we got engaged and he then quit in solidarity (the boss' reasoning was that attorneys were far easier to replace than a good programmer; he ended up having to replace both.)
