HNT- Half Nekk'ed Truck
I've had my truck for years, we've been through a lot.
I've rocked out hardcore to music, it's been my sanctuary when I've been emotionally sick. it's costed me tons of cash, it's hauled all my trash. it's gotten me through all of life's little slips, and I've taken it on countless road trips...
no road trip more important, than my most recent trip to Vegas with Hella.
so to give thanks to my truck for conveying my love and I across the desert i thought an HNT om age was appropriate.
A side view for you...
and a peak at my tailgate!
These pics are all from our trip to the Cliff top above Lake Elsinore, it's the same place we snapped one of our new favorite pics... (i love how free she looks in this picture... i guess love will do that to you.)
but don't worry, we behaved on the cliffs, after all, we didn't want any accidents.
Feed them, or feed them to something, regardless they just need to be part of the food chain.
recently i found a game that i have to fully endorse, it's all about helping the less fortunate in London in the 1800's.
you play as a delightful chap named Creaky Todd, who has been given a job by Oliver Twisted to gather up the Orphans of England and turn them into something special... Dinner
I found Sassy's blog because she left a comment on Shora's blog (back when Shora used to blog, that is)
I found shora nearly 3 years ago in a group of Canadians that i was quite close to for a time. The lead blogger in the group was a guy named Carmine.
I found Carmine in a random search. his profile read: "Where to begin? Born in the southern reaches of Canada, I was raised near a park. That about covers it." that was enough to get me to read more. I even did a post about his blog, it's not much, but i didn't have anyone reading at the time.
Carmine's blog came up in the search because back in the day if you went to the blogger home page and did a search for recent blogs it would show everyone who posted in the past 5 seconds.
I had done the random search because i had just started blogging and i had no one reading my blog.
the only reason i started blogging was because it was worth five points extra credit to type out your "daily journaling" on these new things called "blogs". This was my first post ever.
the English class i was taking was one i had taken before, but my (at-the-time) friend Josh convinced me to take it with him.
I met Josh my first year at Fullerton Jr. College, we probably wouldn't have talked to each other if it weren't for the fact that we sat next to each other.
it's weird to think that any one of these moments could have been missed so easily. a slight change, and i would be without the love of my life. guess there is something to say for luck. Cause i feel pretty lucky to have her.
I finally got my internet connection running again, and with it up i felt a Hella Trip Wrap-Up/HNT set was in order.
(BTW, blogger won't let me spell check, so you're getting this in the raw)
"I've lived here for two years, but it only feels like home when you're here..."
I absolutely love having her with me. from the first moment we saw eachother at the airport we couldn't keep our hands off each other. even while i was sitting on the a bench trying to catch my breath we were still smooching. (i had to run across a giant parking lot to catch the tram to the airport, and i don't run...)
Our first night was magical, i picked her a white rose, she called me a shithead, hehehe. (she meant to say "Shit disturber," but the latter slipped out much easier).
The back story: we had finally made it to Lake Elsinore and figured we needed some food in us (fun time fuel). so we stopped at In & Out for some burgers, while in the drivethru i saw white roses growing along side the truck, so i jump out, ran to the bushes and cut her a little white rose. she smiled that smile that lights up my life, it was good. unfortunately hella was a bit Jetlagged, so when i was inching up closer on the car infront of us to see if i could set off their bumper sensors she accused me of being a shithead. (she meant to say Shit-disturber, or so she says...)
Now, not to go into too much detail, but that night we got to relive our selves of the months of tension... good thing Amber wasn't home, hehehe.
That first weekend went by in what felt like a blur. we got to do those things that everyone else takes for granted: -We held hands -We watched movies -We went to the store -We cuddled -and i made her breakfast (that's right bitches, i cook too)
it was bliss
On Monday i had to work *pout*. I didn't want to leave her home by her self with nothing to do, so i kept her busy. hehehe. i bought her a present and left in on the bathroom counter. of course, the gift was inside a lock box on the counter, and i hid the keys. So after a great deal of sleeping in she found a note on top of the lock box letting her know that that her present was inside but the keys were "lost." a series of clues led her to the keys, but there were some tricky things for her to solve (like having to solve a Suduko puzzle to find my garage to find her next clue.) in no time, (3 hours) she finally found the key and opend the box. there she found a little digital picture viewer keychain thingy (click here to see WTF i'm talking about).
On Tuesday i had to go to work again, but this time i didn't feel bad about leaving her at home. see, while i was off working miss Hella got to hang out with her californian counterpart Tracy. Where did these two trouble making chiquitas go? oh how about Glen Ivy!
And once the girls got there, they wasted no time getting dirty with eachother... that's right, girl on girl MUD BATH ACTION!
*note- the only pics from the spa are on Hella's phone, so these strangers will just have to do.*
Needless to say i got a very pampered, very relaxed, and very shiny Hella (mud does that to you.)
We also took a little bit of time to get out of the heat and go to the Look Out above Lake Elsinore, and let me tell you, Lake Elsinnore never looked better...
Wednesday was bowling with my parents. It was the first time Hella met my parents. it's funny, i was nervous about them doing something that would embarrasse me, but everything went really well. the only thing that i didn't care for was while i was being silly with my Mom and Hella my dad kept pulling me aside telling me that i was "being immature and i need to knock it off." when i told hella about it she just smiled that smile she has and told me "baby, i love you for you, don't ever change that."
how can i argue with this girl?
after bowling it was Sushi time, and we finished that up by eating some tasty pussy...
(they're kitties)
Thursday was the drive to Vegas...
while we weren't on any drugs, the heat was intense. from years of living in lake elsinore i was used to extreme heat, but Hella had a bit of a reaction to the heat. I did my best to keep her cool, but all the hot tounge action in the world couldn't chill things out any.
When we finally got to our hotel, The Gold (Heroin) Spike, we found out that our room wasn't going to be ready for 3 more hours. so we decided to head out, it was at this point the heat finally overwhelmed Hella and she started getting sick. the AC postponed what would be the inevitable, but luckily i got her into the pool at the Rio before she passed out. as soon as the water enveloped her she re immerged and started feeling instantly better. (the beer helped)
Soon my mom joined us at the pool and Hella and my Mom instantly bonded. (that's my mom in the middle)
Friday we woke up early and tried to get in some sight seeing, but the heat of the day was ultimately our undoing and we wound up exhausted. Even gigantic frozen drinks didn't help.
So it was back to the pool. of course, on our way through the Rio there was a run in with some Chip n' Dale Dancers.
Hella got a piece And one to take back to room with her.
That night we got to catch a comedy show. There's The Jeff and his girl, my Dad, my Mom, Hella and... where did i go? (my brother took this pic, can you tell?)
Saturday was our last day in Vegas, we checked out of the roach motel and hit the road. we made great time through the desert and made it home in no time. we acctually made it home in enough time that we went out and picked up a B-day card for my mom and a shirt for Hella's monkey. if i must say, this girl has some mad shopping skills. she managed to find the only California shirt in the entire Walmart. (fyi, out here in Lake Elsinore there aren't any "welcome to California" souvineers.)
That night we decided to take advantage of the fact that we had access to my parents house (as they were still in Vegas) and went for a night swim.
But as soon as we hit the water Hella came up with a great idea. nothing makes a "last night together" more special than Skinny Dipping!
i have to admit, this was the first time i had ever swam in a pool naked, and once my paranoia and fear of the pool equipment passed (i didn't want my pieces sucked up by the pump) it was quite fun. what made it even more intoxicating was watching Hella swiming completely free and unabashed. it's when she's at her most natural that she's at her pinical of beauty.
Sunday was the day that we weren't looking forward to, saying goodbye is never easy, and knowing how much we're going to be missing eachother over the next few days is never a fun prospect. the only solace i have is that every time we say goodbye it's just one step closer to never having to say it again.
When i'm without her i feel like i'm sleeping through life, but when i'm with her i feel alive. do you know what i mean?
Spec-tac-ular....
One day, it will be forever... that is until we have death, BY SNU SNU!
On a side note
Something that people don't know about us, when we're together for our visits we often wind up with some running gag. one one trip it was referenceing Deuce Bigalow's "that's a huge bitch" scene.
This trip it was Skeletor yelling "ahhhh, you son of a bitch!" from the Robot Chicken skit (featured on Hella's Blog)
And of course, the Carpool scene
"behold the gascious stentch of Skelator's breakfast burrito!"
doing a quickie post just letting you all know that I'm back, but not in the computer sense of things.
first and foremost I wanted to say that my vacation with Hella was everything I wanted and more!
unfortunately I can't do any posts about the trip, or share any pics because I'm having internet issues at home. see, I thought I'd be a nice guy and let my neighbor hook into my WiFi signal, but when I did it did something to my connection to the internet. for some reason my laptop won't even pick up my wireless router's signal. the strange thing is that my Handheld WiFi detector is indicating that the signal still exists. the only thing I can figure is that either we (a) overloaded the signal, or (b) Verizon has a safe guard built in so I can't make a hotspot for the entire neighborhood. regardless, I need my internet STAT!
it's funny, you don't realize how many things you use the internet for until you can't access it...
I can't: * Chat with Hella * post on my blog (eroding the human soul, one reader at a time) * read my usual blogs * check out all the HNT posts (it's technically part of the blog bullet, but I think it deserves it's own) * look at stuff I wanna buy, but can't afford * mildly entertain my self with youtube * look up directions (sometimes I use it for practical things too) * Check my e-mail (I'm very limited at work) * and of course, porn
now I need to get a hold of my neighbor, erase her access to my WiFi, contact Verizon, and sacrifice a goat so I can get my internet fix again...
